boss wants me to reconsider whether if i want to go back and work part time.
He even offered me a higher pay (hourly) than what I'm earning now (hourly).

Neeeh.
The job is tough. Working hours are weird.

You gotta hold on to heavy metal teapots filled with SUPER hot green tea and walk around the restaurant like once every 3-5 minutes.
My hands don't even feel like mine anymore ]:

I dont like to wipe plates and 23 tables + god-knows-how-many chairs THREE TIMES a day.

I had enough of weird, picky, "hi-i'm-paralyzed" customers.

Especially those typical chinese people who act like they're friggin rich.
They try to talk like americans but all you see, they're clutching on a FAKE Louis Vuitton/Gucci/Coach bag and speak with horrible usage of english.

yesterday i was sent on a spying mission.
opposite takehana, is TAO.
my boss wanted my friend and me to go check it out.
it's a lounge and a restaurant combined. Japanese/Thai/Western food altogether.
TAO is absolutely gorgeousssss!! the design. those man-made lakes and bridges that you can literally walk on.
the menu. the bar. o m g. it's both romantic and awesome. the lounge is a little country to egyptian kinda thing. and the restaurant is more with bamboos.
BLABLABLA.
i sound like i'm promoting TAO. haha.

anyways,
i'm gonna go for that haircut i need today [:
and maybe tonight go over to 23Takehana to get my paycheque!

Today as I was driving home from work, my mom called me and told me that Stephen Loo passed away. Sigh. If you're wondering, Stephen was Pastor Philip's son. He's 26 and was studying in England at a nurse college. I couldn't find where I place his picture in my computer but he's a tall, athletic and good looking man of God. It's just weird how life is. One moment that person is here enjoying life and taking every obstacle in life as a challenge and after a moment, he gives up.

WHY?

I miss Pastor Philip. I still do. I bet all of us do too especially Jasmine, my sister, Samantha, Emily and Evelyn. Pastor was like our dad. Our stronghold in times of trouble. I wish he's still here.

Nobody is like Pastor Philip, infact he's irreplaceable.

And now, Stephen is gone too. He looks so much like Pastor Philip. Everytime I see him in church, he'll give out the SAME bear hug his dad used to give us.

I guess death will not wait for anyone. If it comes, it comes. If it happens, it happens. Nobody knows why. Nobody knows why good people always leave the world behind before the rest.

I don't know how Pastor Florence is gonna stand all this. Her husband just passed away like exactly 1 year ago, and now it's her son's turn.

Keep her in your prayers, would you?

It's almost 130am, and I still can't sleep. Life is sooo unpredictable. So treasure those close to your heart. And settle for things today, tell that person you love him/her and that you cherish the relationship you both share.

Who knows, there might be no tomorrow.

6th day at work and everything is fantabulous. [:

Today's my 6th day working [: time sure flies!
Today, was also the day which I dropped a Ramen Spoon and broke it.
hahahaha!! woops. ]:
Today was also the day where 3 same guys asked me out again.

Today was the day my boss complimented me. HEEEHEEE.

Anyway, at around 6pm-8pm, there's this old couple, walkin into the restaurant hand in hand. And guess who opened the door and greeted them? ME! "Irashai mashe" I said in Japanese, as in Welcome [: (Idk how to spell that word. baah.)

They were in their late 50s. The wife, clutching a teddy bear and a bouquet of flowers smiling all the way. The man requested for the most romantic place to sit. So I escorted them to sit next to the pond, and pulled the chair for the lady. It was his wife's birthday he said.

It struck me. To see both of them so happy. I was smiling along, no idea why LOL. But it's just beautiful to see an elderly couple STILL walking hand in hand and being so lovely and romantic towards each other. The wife even rested her head on her husband's shoulder as I was pouring tea. awww. [:

Then I can hear myself say,
I want a life like that.

so here's an update :D at last. oh well! I just started work about 5 days ago at 23Takehana. My first time working. First time out in the real world trying to earn some cash. [:


hmm. i look horrible in that yucky uniform but I post this up because Juan wants me to. lol.

I made about 18 new friends - Billy, Edison, Serene, Lily, Shu Fang, Ai Ping, Lau, Alice, James, Sam, Put, Pong (he looks like DESMOND!), frankly I don't remember all their names hahaha. But they're awesome. Andddd oh! I work in a Japanese restaurant as a waitress if you're wondering.

First day at work, I saw Charis and Gary bwahhahaa. Standing infront of the restaurant waving at me LOL.

I work from 1030-230pm. and 530-1030. baaaah.
6 days job. but it's so much fun [:

it's so hard to believe, time flies and the year has come to an end once again! I'M ALREADY 20!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! well actually in 10 more months I'll be. but I'll be known as a 20 year old now.
It's so hard for me to accept the fact. I'm no longer a teen. tssk*tssk*

2006 has been such a hard year.
Lots of ups and downs.
Lots of hopes, and dreams crushed.
It was also a year where I completed my senior high.
No more schooling years for me. ]:

All bad things aside, 2006 has also been a year where I was blessed with so many friends and great people. It was also the year when I really understood what life is actually like. It's also a year when I actually put down my guards and overcame my trust issues. I've learned so many things from my past mistakes. I've learned how to take NO for an answer. How to move on. How to forgive. And, how to stand up for what I believe in. To be more responsible. To be more reliable.
2006. A year that I will CERTAINLY remember and learn from.

Well, 2007 is here! And I know that it's gonna be a much better year. A more fruitful year filled with blessings and so on. SO much that I look forward to this year, especially meeting that special someone for real. [: It will be a whole different year from 2006. I'LL MAKE SURE IT WILL BE.
2007. A year when I'll look at and take my life seriously.

After counting down, we had a short rehearsal for our One Church One Vision celebration on the 6th. we're supposed to come up with a mascot and a theme for our outreach [: there's gonna be like 2000++ people (i think) attending the celebration at Fort Conwallis! And there's gonna be lots of food, games and a competition of which church branch has the best mascot! We have a mascot, but I'm NOT allowed to post it up UNTIL the celebration's over. Believe me, the mascot's super cuteeeeee :D
